In preparation for Memorial Day 2022, approximately 70 volunteers from the Travis Manion Foundation, the local community, and the Guardians of the National Cemetery gathered to complete the Avenue of Flags before Veterans Day 2022.
Students of the Middle bucks Institute of Technology along with the Travis Manion Foundation and the Guardians of the National Cemetery worked on phase II of the Never Forget Garden. This work included the creation of a rock garden painted as the American flag. The American flag rock garden (10’ x 19’) is adjacent to Columbarium “A”, along Memorial Walk. Stars will be added to the ‘flag’ before Flag Day, June 14th.
Local businesses providing expertise and materials include; Thomas Joseph Solutions, Arena Maintenance, Sherwin-Williams, McLeod Fabrication, and Victory Garden.
