On the last Thursday of each month, Washington Crossing National Cemetery honors veterans who have passed away with no family members to attend their honors. This month, on May 29th, we will be honoring Thirty +  such veterans.

Service Details:

• Names Reading: The names of the veterans will be read.
• Flag Presentation: The Pennsylvania Military Honors team will present the flag to a cemetery volunteer, representing all veterans.
• Rifle Salute: Performed by the Guardians.
• Taps: Live Taps will be provided if available, otherwise, an electronic bugle will be used.
• Following the 1:30 p.m. Service: The unaccompanied service will take place after the scheduled 1:30 p.m. service.

Invitation:

• Cemetery Employees: We hope all cemetery employees will attend.
• Public Invitation: All interested individuals are welcome. Feel free to invite friends and family.
• Clergy: Clergy of all faiths are invited and may offer words during the service. Please contact Commander Donald Tillotson if you wish to speak.
